I am putting together notes for an upcoming basic polygraph school on Chart Markings and Annotations. What other markings are you examiners utilizing that I have missed:

X – Announcement of beginning of test
XX – Announcement of the end of test
M or MV - Movement
B – Belch or burp
C – Cough
CT – Cleared throat
SI – Sigh
SN – Sniff or Snort
SZ – Sneeze
SW – Swallow
SP - Sleep
Y - Yawn
DB – Deep breath
L – Laugh
T – Talk
OS or OSN – Outside noise (or stimulus)
EI – Examiner Instructions
PW – Poorly worded question
WR – Examiner will repeat last question

I already know, and welcome some funny ones as well. But make sure to include real ones as well.

BN - Flatulence (Butt Noise) I actually used this one in basic polygraph school and kept the chart.

ISN- Inside Noise (Occuriing inside the testing suite)

PP - Self explanatory and requires drying the movement sensor cushion before continuing the test. Of course Once they PP guilt is difficult to deny.

EKEITWCL --Although extremely rare,it's known as the "Examiner Kicks Examinee In Thigh Whilst Crossing (or recrossing) Leg.
The lesson here is ---just don't cross your legs, it always proves uncomfortable after 4 minutes.

E - I can top that....ETOSLALITL

Examiner trips on subjects leg and almost lands in their lap.

yep, it happened to me a couple of years back with a very tall long legged subject.

My lesson...have good footing while maneuvering around the subject. and always know where their feet are. And for Jim and Ted...no he didn't 'try' to trip me...I was just a klutz!

OK all,

Donna learned that one from me, but really, all I wanted was for Donna to land on my lap...

And Ted, stop reading my diary and repeating my personal secrets here...
